This is a totally off-the-grid BIOROCK installation at the remote Kairakau Beach on the Southern Hawkes Bay coast.
After the effluent has been treated to an advanced secondary standard within the BIOROCK filter, it is discharged to a specifically designed two-stage wetland effluent application area via a manifold and their distribution system.
